Collecting customer sales data and preferences is built in to the very foundations of the product. This happens automatically if you choose to use our loyalty scheme, but otherwise you can capture customer contact details to deliver an emailed receipt and capture their interests and/or contact preferences at the same time. Customer Services can tell the customer what they bought on previous purchases – and you can analyse purchase patterns and detect and act on lapsed customers.
Our loyalty system uses the same rules as our promotions – just that the points are taken as benefit rather than a cash benefit. Points can be calculated on a fixed point basis (by X and get 10 points) or on a points per pound basis (spend £4 and get 4 points). Points can be easily redeemed at till (at any site no matter where the points where earned) and a mini balance print is available..
